Phase

I haven’t been doing much realism lately since I wanted to experiment on variety of characters. I always have trouble with making a group picture because one or two people end up looking the same. So I did what I’d never done before: I MADE A FACE CHART!!!

I don’t know who these people are. But that fat and old man at the right, remind me of my dad and his dad. So I guess it’s good to base some of your characters on real people, especially those with unique faces. Guy in the scarf, that’s my character, Silas, but I forgot to darken his hair. Say hello.

It’s also good to make an expression chart when you draw the same character over and over again. I’ve recently become obsessed with Adventure Time. The gender-swapped episode, actually. So here’s a chart of Marshall Lee because he’s the one I keep drawing.
