Had the urge to make a small comic of Donna Tartt's "The Secret History". This is the first page. Have yet to do the others.

Yes, I really haven’t been sleeping well at all.

To Dance With Ice and Fire

Bran’s nightmares of falling.

Theon remembers life in Winterfell when he was growing up with Robb and Jon.

Jon says goodbye to Arya before he leaves for the Wall.

Bran, Rickon, Shaggydog, and Summer in the godswood.

Edmure Tully and Roslin Frey (because Roslin eventually falls in love with Edmure and someone challenged me to draw a couple).

Robb as a wight (never happens but I like to think that it does because it’s too cool).

Everytime I go geek over a book/tv series/movie/band I make a great number of fan art. Right now my geekiness is focused on the series A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin. I’ve read the first two books. Now I’m in the middle of the third, A Storm of Swords, which according to my older sister is the best book in the series. So far. The last two books are still being processed and the sixth won’t be released until 2015 (according to the writer, but I’m positive it will take¬†much¬†l0nger than that). My friends ask me why I love the show and books so much. They think it’s too brutal or too whimsical. While the whole medieval theme appeals to me, it’s really the characters that I’ve fallen in love with. While in other books, the good guys remain good and triumph in the end, the characters in A Song of Ice and Fire are a mixture of good and evil. Before I read the second book, I thought I hated one of the main anatagonists, Jaime Lannister. But then I read his POV and I saw that he wasn’t so bad after all. And one of my favorite characters, Robb Stark, in the first book became one of those characters that annoy me in the third book (he’s the guy who’s handsome yet doesn’t have much good sense). Theon Greyjoy, the traitor, became a pitiful being in the fifth. But Littlefinger is still Littlefinger (sly, that is). Also, there are so many twists and turns that leave the reader stumped and begging for more.

Who wins and dies in the game of thrones? You’ll never know for sure until you see it in black and white.

I became obsessed with A Song of Ice and Fire. Here are my favorite characters. Well, some of them. I haven’t drawn the others yet. Littlefinger and Tyrion and the rest of the Starks. And yes, I love Theon Greyjoy despite his being a traitor and a jerk. He’s lovable in his own way.
